Hotel of the Week: Hotel Belarus

I have not an iota of an idea what this hotel is like. It's in Minsk, so it has that going for it. However, judging by the architecture, I'd venture to say that it has very long hallways. (I'll bet it has central elevators, and it looks like a long trudge if you've got a room at either end.) Its web page is only in Russian, which I can't speak. If you can, you can read this part here:

The translation says: One of the best hotels in Minsk, hotel "Belarus" is located in the historic center of the city, about 45 minutes from the airport "Mink-2" and 10 minutes from the railway station, on the bank of the river "Svisloch". Its location has unquestionable advantage: its proximity to business, administrative, and shopping centers of the city, while being far enough from the noise and bustle of the big city.

I used to live in Minsk when I was a kid. It's a beautiful hotel. It's gotta be around 30 years old.
